Two more Navy QBs hurt

September 27, 1992

The worst news out of Annapolis yesterday wasn't Navy's 40-0 loss to Rutgers; it was that two more Navy quarterbacks were lost to injury during the game, bringing to four the number of quarterbacks who have been forced from Navy's three shutout losses by injury.

Yesterday, Jason Van Matre suffered a severe hip pointer at the end of the first half and Steve Seoane suffered a separated shoulder while trying to make a tackle after having a pass intercepted.

The Midshipmen have not scored at all this season. Details, Page 13D
