Bel Air police investigate theft

Bel Air police reported a theft in the 300 block of Old Joppa Road of a personal computer, printer, typewriter, two telephones, a fax machine, a surge protector, a printer, 30 T-shirts, beverage holders, squirt bottles, a cash box, currency, a raincoat, two stallion shanks and a twitch.

.` The loss was valued at $4,922.

Hickey School escapee charged

A 16-year-old youth from Perry Hall, an escapee from the Charles Hickey School in Cub Hill -- was charged with attempted breaking and entering in the 100 block Waldon Road in Abingdon.

0 The youth was returned to the Hickey School.

Kingsville woman robbed of jewelry

A Kingsville woman from Baltimore County reported to police the theft of a gold bracelet with diamonds.

The jewelry, stolen in the 2300 block of Bel Air Road, Fallstonwas valued at $5,000.

Joppa teens charged with assault

Two Joppa youths, 15 and 16 years old, were charged with assault and battery following an altercation at a bus stop on Joppa Farm Road.

J West Bel Air Avenue: Theft of carpet shampooer, paint sprayer

and tools. Value placed at $1,500.

Liberty Street: Breaking and entering, theft of stereo equipment, bed, crib, clothing and living room furniture. Loss valued at $5,000.

Abingdon

* 2500 block Red Maple Drive: Breaking and entering of shed; theft of guns, leather jacket, television, compact disc player, speakers, compact discs and VCR. Loss valued at $2,150.

3000 block Emmorton Road: Theft of telephone service from business, damage to door. Loss valued at $2,475.95.

Bel Air

600 block Apple Ridge Court: Theft of Orioles tickets and earrings. Loss valued at $113.

300 block Quilting Way: Theft of five sheets of copper from vehicle at construction site. Loss placed at $200.

Edgewood

* 100 block Palmetto Drive: Theft of radar detector, watch and car radio from 1992 Toyota. Loss valued at $332.

1700 block Meadowood Drive: Malicious destruction of sliding glass door. Value placed at $200.

Fallston

* 2300 Carrs Mill Road: Vehicle tampering and damage to sliding glass door on Dodge van parked at Fallston High School. Damage placed at $200.

Joppa

* 200 block Doncaster Road: Theft of paint spray gun and damage to padlock on GMC truck. Loss valued at $2,960.
