AFTER-HOURS: Party German-style with beer, food and music...

AROUND THE INNER HARBOR

September 26, 1992

AFTER-HOURS: Party German-style with beer, food and music from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday a few blocks north of the Inner Harbor at Charles Plaza, Charles and Saratoga streets.

The Oktoberfest is part of the First Thursdays program, in which participating galleries, museums and shops along the Charles Street corridor offer extended hours -- 5 p.m. until about 7:30 p.m. -- on the first Thursday of each month.

Ten storefronts have been decorated with the work of local artists, an exhibit that coincides with Harborplace and The Gallery's "City Visions" program. More details on "City Visions" below.

For a complete list of exhibits and events, pick up a copy of "Street Sheet" from participating Charles Street merchants, or call Downtown Partnership at 244-1030.
