Carl Everett Tufts, shipping foreman

Services for Carl Everett Tufts, 81, a retired shipping foreman, will be held at noon today at the Harundale Presbyterian Church, 1210 Eastway Road, Glen Burnie.

Mr. Tufts died Tuesday at the North Arundel Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Clara Butler of Glen Burnie; two sons, Richard G. Tufts of Daisy, Md., and Charles E. Tufts of Pasadena; and a sister, Louise Peters, of Ironton, Ohio.

Charles L. Gallion Sr., retired firefighter

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m today for Charles Leo Gallion Sr., 78, a retired firefighter, at the St. Jane Frances Church, 8499 Virginia Ave., Rivera Beach.

Mr. Gallion died of cancer Monday at the North Arundel Hospital.

Mr. Gallion was a pump operator for the Baltimore City Fire Department for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Anita E. Engel of Pasadena; three daughters, Anita M. Kuhn of Arbutus, Jo-Ann C. Snyder and Louise M. Medicus, both of Pasadena; a son, Charles L. Gallion Jr. of Lake Ridge, Va.; three brothers, Joseph A. Gallion of Catonsville and Robert T. and Edward G. Gallion, both of Pasadena; and a sister, Marion C. Gallion of Pasadena.
