Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A 25-year-old resident of the 600 block of Wickham Road was admitted to St. Agnes Hospital and listed in good condition after he was shot in the face last night. The man said someone shot at his car while he and friend were parked in the 4600 block of Manordene Road. The victim told police he and another man were seated in his car about 10 p.m. when he heard what sounded like two gunshots and then saw two of his car's windows shatter. The passenger was not injured.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 700 block of Whitmore Ave. was treated at Bon Secours Hospital yesterday evening and released after being shot in the right foot by a gunman who attempted to rob him in the 900 block of Wheeler Ave. shortly after 9 p.m. The victim was shot when he attempted to run after the gunman asked him for change.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Edmondson Ave. was in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. Sunday night when he was attacked by a man who struck him in the face with his fists several times. The attacker escaped. The victim was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment of a broken jaw and released.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Park Heights Ave. was robbed by two men, one armed with a handgun, of nearly $400 as he walked in an alley behind the 2700 block of W. Coldspring Lane Saturday about 10 a.m. Saturday.

ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested a woman yesterday morning and were holding her at the Women's Detention Center at the Central District pending attempted burglary charges after she was arrested trying to break into an 11th-floor apartment in the 200 block of N. Broadway.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Property valued at $2,000 was stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Orleans St. that is undergoing renovation. The burglar entered by forcing a rear door.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- An East Baltimore woman was walking in the 800 block of E. Pratt St. about 9 p.m. yesterday when two men approached from the rear and stole her purse containing property and cash, all valued at $120.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke through the roof into the Shark Aquarium in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. over the weekend and stole cash and property valued at $337.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $350 was stolen from the O'Donnell Pontiac body shop in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. after someone broke in over the weekend through the roof.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the High's dairy store in the 3700 block of Wilkens Ave. yesterday afternoon of $60.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property of unknown valued was stolen from the Westside auto sales in the 2900 block of Wilkens Ave. over the weekend after someone entered by forcing a window.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke through a rear balcony door into a house in the 2400 block of Pickwick Road yesterday morning and stole several pieces of silverware, liquor, and clothing valued at nearly $300.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV, VCR, fax machine and computer equipment, valued at more than $5,000, were stolen from a branch of Baltimore City Rehab in the 5500 block of Ivanhoe Ave. after someone entered through a window over the weekend.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a car yesterday morning while it was parked in the 2200 block of Kenoak Ave. and stole 20 cassette tapes and a radar detector, all valued at $320.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A 19-inch TV valued at $400 was stolen from a dwelling in the 4700 block of York Road after someone broke in through a second-floor window over the weekend.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 900 block of Belgian Ave. through a bedroom window over the weekend and stole property valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $1,500 was stolen from a house in the 400 block of E. 28th St. over the weekend after someone entered through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 2700 block of Maryland Ave. by a man seen running away from the scene by the occupant. The burglary occurred at 8 p.m. yesterday. Entry was gained through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two multispeed mountain bikes worth about $600 were stolen from a garage in the 5000 block of Levindale Ave. yesterday after someone broke in through a door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 3100 block of Remington Ave. yesterday by forcing a a second-floor window and stole property valued at nearly $700.

THEFT: Northern District -- A multispeed bike valued at nearly $400 was stolen over the weekend from a house in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. by someone who entered by forcing the basement door.
