The garden at Oatlands Plantation near Leesburg is said to be Virginia's premier historic garden. Next weekend it will be the site for the 12th annual Oatlands Garden Fair, with three days of garden-related activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A standard flower show will take place Friday and Saturday, along with a photo art show, hands-on demonstrations, landscaped doll houses, garden vendors, a working potter and spinner, and carriage driving exhibitions (Saturday only). Horticultural experts will also be there to answer gardening questions.
