Cincinnati Reds -- Announced a four-year working agreement with Triple-A Indianapolis beginning in 1993.

Pittsburgh Pirates -- Recalled OF Al Martin, OF William Pennyfeather and IF Kevin Young from Triple-A Buffalo. Purchased the contract of C Tom Prince from Buffalo.

Colleges

Colonial Athletic Association -- Named Fred Barakat supervisor of basketball officials. Barakat is also supervisor of officials for the Atlantic Coast Conference and Big South.

Cal Poly-Pomona -- Announced the resignation of men's basketball coach Dave Bollwinkel.

Colgate -- Named Jim Patten assistant lacrosse coach.

Idaho -- Named Pete Liske director of athletics.

James Madison -- Named Ralph Sampson men's part-time assistant basketball coach.

Michigan -- Declared G-F Jalen Rose, F-C Chris Webber and C Eric Riley ineligible until the NCAA decides whether they violated rules by being paid for some appearances.

Western Kentucky -- Extended the contract of men's basketball coach Ralph Willard through June 30, 1996.

Wyoming -- Suspended DT Thomas Williams indefinitely from the football team for inappropriate practice conduct.

Cleveland Browns -- Signed QB Mike Tomczak to a one-year contract. Placed QB Bernie Kosar on IR. Waived DB Odie Harris. Signed T Bob Dahl to the practice squad. Released NT Frank Kmet from the practice squad.

Green Bay Packers -- Signed DT Danny Noonan, who started for the Dallas Cowboys until being waived Monday. The Packers will assume the remainder of his two-year contract, reportedly worth $1.3 million, including $615,000 in base salary this year. Waived DE Don Davey, their third-round draft choice this year.

Kansas City Chiefs -- Signed OL Joe Staysniak. Placed OT Derrick Graham on IR. Signed WR Michael Smith and LB Ron Goetz to the practice squad. Released DE Pellom McDaniels from the practice squad.

Los Angeles Raiders -- Moved FB Derrick Gainer from the injured list to the waiver list. Re-signed LB Tom Benson.

Los Angeles Rams -- Claimed RB Anthony Thompson on waivers from the Phoenix Cardinals, who drafted him in the second round in 1990. In two years, Thompson gained a total of 766 yards in 232 carries and scored five TDs. Placed RB Troy Stradford on IR.

Minnesota Vikings -- Acquired RB Keith Henderson from the San Francisco 49ers for an undisclosed draft choice.

Phoenix Cardinals -- Placed QB Timm Rosenbach on IR. Signed DL Keith Rucker from the practice squad. Signed DL Alphonso Taylor to the practice squad. Signed free-agent QB Erik Wilhelm, who had been cut in preseason by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Pittsburgh Steelers -- Signed RB Albert Bentley, who has rushed for 2,355 yards and a 4.5 average in seven pro seasons. Waived rookie CB Alan Haller, a fifth-round pick from Michigan State.

Seattle Seahawks -- Released DE Keith Millard. Signed DE Natu Tuatagaloa.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Signed TE Todd Harrison. Signed TE Kirk Kirkpatrick to the practice squad. Released RB Mazio Royster and WR Willie Culpepper from the practice squad.

Hockey

Tampa Bay Lightning -- Returned D Drew Bannister, D Andrew Kemper, C Aaron Gavey, C Martin Tanguay, C Tom MacDonald, F Brantt Mhyres, F Marc Tardif and G Derek Wilkinson to their respective junior teams.
