Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 67-year-old man was shot around 8 p.m. yesterday during an argument with his 74-year-old roommate in their home in the 4100 block of The Alameda. The injured man was shot in the hand and grazed in the head when a handgun went off while the two struggled. Mr. Hadley was taken to the Raymond Curtis Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital for treatment. The other man reportedly fled and was being sought.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the 3800 block of Wilkens Ave. of $50 Monday night.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into Studio in the 200 block of N. Franklintown Road over the weekend and stole a compact disc player and a cassette radio.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at $500 was stolen from Standard Supply Company in the 1200 block of DeSoto Road after someone broke into the building yesterday through a window.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men attacked a resident of the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. with sticks in the first block of S. Payson St. yesterday and robbed him of $28.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man armed with a large folding knife robbed a woman in the 3200 block of Bloomingdale Road of an undisclosed sum of cash yesterday afternoon.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at nearly $1,200 was stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Hafer St. yesterday after someone entered by force.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a garage in the 500 block of Lucia Ave. yesterday morning by forcing a door. Property valued at $360 was stolen.

THEFT: Central District -- Someone broke into a Bel Air resident's car in the 100 block of N. Paca St. yesterday and stole a tennis racket, field glasses, a socket set and a gym bag, all valued at $351.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Two chain-saws worth more than $300 were stolen from a city-owned 1989 Ford truck Monday while it was parked in the 1200 block of Elmleaf Court in the Somerset Homes complex.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A gunman robbed the Pearl Vision store in the 500 block of S. Conkling St. of an undisclosed amount of money Monday night.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 300 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. was robbed of his gold necklace Monday night by several youths who attacked him as he walked in the 2600 block of E. Baltimore St. Later, police arrested a juvenile and charged him with robbery before releasing him to his parents. Police recovered the jewelry.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Lyndale Ave. was robbed by a man of her purse and property valued at $40 while she walked near her home yesterday morning.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Four men attacked a resident of the 3500 block of Chesterfield Ave. yesterday while he walked in the 3500 block of Brehm's Lane and robbed him of $70 after hitting him in the face and knocking him to the ground.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 3700 block of Erdman Ave. yesterday by forcing the front door and stole $125.

THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- A 38-year-old man was arrested yesterday and held overnight at the police station pending charges he stole property valued at near $15 from General Auto Parts and Supplies in the 1200 block of E. 25th St. The man was arrested by police responding to a shoplifting at the store.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A TV valued at $400 was stolen from a house in the 2000 block of Burnwood Road yesterday after someone broke in.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Computer equipment and a fish tank, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen from Hamilton Middle School between Sunday night and Monday morning.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A VCR, stereo equipment and clothing, all valued at nearly $1,900, were stolen from a house in the 1700 block of Ingram Road yesterday after someone forced open a basement door.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A shotgun valued at $353 was stolen from a house in the 1500 block of Sherwood Ave. yesterday morning by someone who entered through an unlocked window.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 14-year-old resident of the 900 block of Horner's Lane was robbed of his tennis shoes yesterday morning by several youths who accosted him in the 5000 block of Sinclair Lane. The shoes were valued at $90.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two boys, ages 14 and 16, robbed a 13-year-old resident of the 4100 block of Raymon Ave. of his watch Monday afternoon in the 4800 block of Sinclair Lane.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man from the 1800 block of N. Appleton St. was robbed about 6 p.m. Monday of $24 and $100 in food stamps by a couple who accosted him outside a store in the 1700 block of Edmondson Ave.
