SHOOTING/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a 14-year-old boy Saturday and charged him with shooting a 10-year-old resident of the 1200 block of Northern Parkway with a BB gun during an incident in the 5900 block of Glennor Ave. The victim was not seriously injured. Following a charge of assault by shooting, the 14-year-old was released into the custody of his parents pending action by juvenile authorities.

STABBING: Western District -- Valagustini Faulkner, of the 600 block of N. Carey St., was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock-Trauma Center after being stabbed in the left chest Saturday night in the 1300 block of Edmondson Ave. Police arrested a suspect.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Western District -- Vandals who broke through a window into Calverton Junior High School in the 1100 block of Whitmore Ave. over the weekend and threw more than $100 worth of food on the floor and against the walls of the cafeteria. The vandals also broke several other windows. The school was expected to be open today.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Norris Moore, of the 1600 block of Warwick Ave., was listed in stable condition at the Liberty Medical Center after being hit with a baseball bat and a hammer during a fight with Mary Morton inside their home Saturday night. The woman also was struck with the baseball bat but refused medical treatment. Neither was arrested.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man and woman walking in the 3300 block of Woodbrook Ave. Saturday night were robbed by a gunman of a total of $48 and a watch.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man yesterday morning and were holding him at the station pending charges for striking a woman with a brick during an argument in the 1500 block of Moreland Ave. Police said the woman sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man struck a woman with a vase yesterday morning during an argument inside her home in the 1300 block of Winchester St. The woman sustained minor lacerations.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- A telephone, trash can and food valued at $104 were stolen from the Allen A.M.E. Church in the 1100 block of W. Lexington St. between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one armed with a knife, robbed a resident of the 2900 block of Denham Circle North of $100 in the 800 block of Bridgeview Road in Cherry Hill around 11 p.m. Sunday. During the robbery, the victim was cut on a hand.

RAPE/ARREST: Southern District -- An eastern Baltimore County man was arrested early yesterday morning and charged with raping a Crownsville woman inside a house in the 1000 block of S. Hanover St. Released on $25,000 bail was Charles Serio, 21, of the 2200 block of Hamiltowne Circle.

THEFT: Northern District -- A shoulder bag, leather pouch, a wallet, and cash, all valued at more than $200, were stolen from a car that was broken into while parked in the 3200 block of N. Calvert St. over the weekend.

ROBBERY TRY: Northern District -- Two men attempted to rob a resident of the 5300 block of Mossway of her car yesterday morning in the 5400 block of York Road. When the victim was approaching her car shortly after 11 a.m., she was accosted by two men who demanded her car keys. When one of the men implied he was armed with a gun, the woman yelled, causing both men to flee.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a 1989 Nissan while it was parked in the 2200 block of Clove Terrace over the weekend and stole stereo equipment and clothing, all valued at nearly $260.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Several pieces of jewelry, cash, clocks and a TV valued at more than $2,000 were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 4200 block of Norwood Road.

THEFT: Northern District -- Stereo equipment valued at nearly $1,900 was stolen from a 1985 Isuzu parked in the 6100 block of Chinquapin Parkway yesterday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A camera and a wallet containing cash valued at more than $200 were taken from an apartment in the 2700 block of Maryland Ave. yesterday evening.

RAPE: Northwestern District -- A man raped a woman inside her apartment in the 2900 block of Garrison Boulevard early yesterday morning. A warrant was to be issued today for the man's arrest.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Jewelry valued at nearly $1,000 was stolen from an apartment in the 3600 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. over the weekend by someone who broke in.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Paint spraying equipment valued nearly $200 was stolen from a vehicle over the weekend while it was parked in the 5200 block of Elleanora Ave.

ROBBERY TRY: Northeastern District -- A 19-year-old resident of the 4400 block of Northwood Drive was in the 4300 block of Loch Raven Boulevard around 7:30 p.m. yesterday when a man he knows pointed a handgun at him and demanded his money. When the victim refused to give up his money, the gunman fled.
