Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 600 block of N. Calvert St. was robbed of his watch and $100 by two men who attacked him from behind in the 500 block of Morton St. at 11:30 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from the Bank Lane Deli in the first block of St. Paul St. shortly before 2 a.m. today by a man seen running from the building by police responding to a burglar alarm.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A TV, VCR, computer, coins and a suitcase were stolen from an apartment in the 200 block of E. Chase St. yesterday after someone entered by force. The property, with the exception of the computer, was valued at $750.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2700 block of Winchester St. between the weekend and Tuesday and stole stereo equipment, a VCR, five remote control TV devices and a battery charger, all valued at nearly $2,800. Entry was gained through a rear patio door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- An antique sideboard valued at $1,000 was stolen from a garage in the 2500 block of Madison Ave. after someone broke in yesterday through a side door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Coronado Ave. was walking in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. early Tuesday morning when he was attacked by several youths who hit him and robbed him of a watch valued at $24.

BURGLARY: Western District -- At least two telephones and a Caller ID appliance worth $200 were stolen from a house in the 500 block of N. Carey St. by someone who forced a rear window to get in yesterday morning.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A microwave oven, VCR, TV and other household appliances valued at more than $2,400 were stolen from a house in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. over the weekend after someone broke in through the front door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Four men attacked a resident of the 500 block of Gold St. yesterday afternoon near his home and robbed him of $58.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 300 block of N. Franklintown Road yesterday of jewelry and cash, all valued at nearly $400, while he walked in the 2300 block of Reisterstown Road.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Cash and food stamps, all valued at nearly $70, were taken from a resident of the 600 block of Poplar Grove St. yesterday evening by two men in their 20s, one with a handgun, who stopped the man as he walked in the 900 block of N. Payson St.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Several pieces of property were stolen from a house in the 200 block of E. Jeffery St. yesterday after someone broke in through a window.

SUSPICIOUS FIRE: Southern District -- A fire that may have been deliberately set caused extensive damage to a three-story rowhouse in the 1800 block of McHenry St. early today. It was not immediately known if the house was occupied. Police said the first two floors were fully engulfed when fire equipment arrived shortly after 3:30 a.m.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- A TV valued at $500 was stolen from a house in the 4600 block of Prudence St. in Curtis Bay between Sept. 5 and yesterday.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southern District -- Police arrested a man early yesterday morning after he broke into St. Jerome's Catholic Church hall in the 700 block of W. Hamburg St. The property taken was recovered. The man was being held at the station pending burglary charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Nevada St. in Westport was robbed of $25 by three men, one with a handgun and another with a baseball bat, as he walked near his home early yesterday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman stopped a resident of the 3700 block of Parkview Ave. near her home Wednesday and robbed her of money and property.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of The Alameda was robbed yesterday of his wallet and $75 by a man who shoved him up against a wall as he walked in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A microwave oven and coins from a pay phone valued at more than $500 were stolen from Your Fingers Plus beauty salon in the 3100 block of W. Belvedere Ave. by someone who broke a window to get in early yesterday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone forced the front door of a house in the 3900 block of Dolfield Ave. yesterday morning and stole property valued at nearly $200.

THEFT: Northern District -- Stereo equipment valued at $1,000 was stolen from a 1988 Nissan that was broken into near the owner's home in the 1000 block of Cameron Road early yesterday.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into Ruthie's Westend Bar in the 2000 block of McHenry St. early yesterday morning by forcing a side window and stole $500 in coins and cash that were in a piggy bank and a bank deposit bag.
