Realtors name top workers

Ed Kipp and Janet Hannsz were recognized as the top producers for the Shannon & Luchs Realtors office in July and Judy Leichtman was recognized as the Top Lister.

Compared with July 1991 figures, the Annapolis office increased total sales 64 percent, total dollar volume 83 percent and total listings 50 percent during July 1992.

UNC Inc. names division president

UNC Inc., the Annapolis-based aviation company, announced that Kenneth Munkittrick has been named president of its Chemical Dynamics Division in Weatherford, Texas.

With more than 20 years of experience in high technology manufacturing operations, Mr. Munkittrick joins Chemical Dynamics from Airwork, also a division of UNC.

At Airwork, he served as senior vice president, operations.

Lynch accepted into sports medicine group

Dr. Garett Lynch, an Annapolis orthopedic surgeon, was accepted into the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the leading sports medicine organization in the United States, at its recent annual meeting in San Diego, California.

Dr. Lynch is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellowship-trained specialist in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine.

A staff member at Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Dr. Lynch is also a partner in Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons and director of their "Arthroscopy and Sports Injury Centers" in Annapolis, Severna Park and Bowie.

Adkins named to public affairs post

Jan Adkins, manager advertising and merchandising of Nevamar Division, International Paper, has been named public information contact in order to streamline the communications program at the company.

porate communications effort on behalf of the Nevamar Division and act as company liaison with local journalists. Ingrid Bennet of Annapolis has recently joined Manis & Wright Realty, a full-service real estate company on Forest Drive in Annapolis, as an associate broker.

Ms. Bennet has been selling real estate for more than 14 years. For the past seven years, she has managed a Sotheby's International Realty affiliate office in Vermont. A member of the Realtors National Marketing Institute, Ms. Bennet has also been awarded a Certified Residential Broker designation.

Carrol's Creek adds to restaurant staff

Carrol's Creek restaurant has announced the appointment of two key members to the Annapolis restaurant's staff.

Lee Halpern has joined executive chef David Hartung's team as sous chef. The graduate of the Culinary Institute of America has served as executive sous chef at the Sheraton Hotels of Towson.

New assistant manager Matt Hannock will greet patrons and share administrative chores. Previously, Mr. Hannock was dining room manager at the Grill at Peabody Court in Baltimore.
