Algenora G. Prince Retired federal worker

Algenora G. Prince, a retired disability inquiries specialist for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, died Thursday at Baltimore County General Hospital of a heart attack. She was 73.

Services were being held today at Christian Lore Baptist Church at Garrison Boulevard and Egerton Road.

Mrs. Prince, who lived in Woodlawn, was born in Winnsboro, S.C., and lived in Winston-Salem, N.C., before attending Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C.

She left the university after her third year to take a Social Security job in Baltimore in 1942.

She enjoyed bowling, sewing, reading and traveling, having visited Italy, Greece and Jerusalem.

She and Raymond Prince were married for 29 years. Mr. Prince, who died last year, worked for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad and Social Security.

Mrs. Prince is survived by a brother, Buster B. Greene of Winston-Salem; a stepdaughter, Lucille Fields of Hephzibah, Ga.; four step-grandchildren and six step-great- grandchildren.
