FISHING

Tuesday: DNR Tidewater Fisheries hearing on proposed sea trout regulations, Wicomico County Free Library, 1222 S. Division St., Salisbury, 6 p.m.

Friday to Sept. 20: First Fall Flounder Tournament at the Hotel Wachapreague and Island House Restaurant. Cash prizes; entry fee required. Call (804) 787-2105.

Oct. 10-11: Annual Bethany-Fenwick Surf Fishing Tournament headquartered at the Delaware National Guard camp in Bethany Beach, Del. Cash prizes for adults and merchandise for youth class winners.

HUNTING/SHOOTING

Wednesday, and Sept. 16, 23: High powered rifle championships at Hopewell Fish and Game, Inc., in Stewartstown, Pa. Distances of 100 and 200 yards. Competition starts at 5:30 p.m.
