It's September, the kids are back in school, but you don't have to succumb to the end-of-summer blues. Two interesting ships are still in town, an antiques show is going on this weekend, and don't forget the pennant race going on over at OPACY. Feel better? Good. Here are a couple Harbor ideas for the Labor Day weekend:
IN WITH THE OLD: Take home a piece of the past today or tomorrow -- at the 12th annual Baltimore Summer Antiques Fair. If you're looking for something unusual, expect to find it here, where 400 dealers from more than 25 states are represented in addition to dealers from Canada and Europe.
Crystal and art glass, furniture, porcelain, quilts, lamps, ivories, paintings, Oriental rugs, bronzes, dolls and miniatures, jewelry, and sterling, Georgian and coin silver are among the items for sale. This one's for serious collectors, as well as casual.
