Baltimore City

ASSAULT: Southern District -- A 22-year-old resident of the 2100 block of Mulberry St. was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was struck over the head last night during a robbery. Rodney Kellam was walking in the 1400 block of Washington Boulevard at 10:33 p.m. when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a piece of pipe, who demanded his money. After robbing Mr. Kellam of $6, the man with the pipe struck him at least once over the head. The two men fled and Mr. Kellam was taken to Shock Trauma by ambulance. No arrests have been made.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Police were seeking a man who robbed a resident of the 2400 block of W. Lombard St. of a small sum in the 900 block of W. Pratt St. yesterday morning while

pressing an object into the victim's back. The robber escaped with $6.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 7500 block of Steens Hill Drive in Glen Burnie was robbed Wednesday night of more than $400 by two men, one armed with a gun, who stopped her while she was walking in the 100 block of E. Patapsco Ave.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A 16-year-old resident of the 1900 block of Wilkens Ave. was today listed in serious condition at St. Agnes Hospital after a gunman shot him yesterday afternoon. The victim, Johnnie Alborgast, was shot in the upper left leg during an attempted robbery in an alley near his home about 6 p.m. No arrest has been made.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A TV valued at $400 was stolen from a house in the 2800 block of Riggs Ave. yesterday after someone gained entry by forcing a rear window.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1000 block of N. Stricker St. was in the 1300 block of Riggs Ave. late Wednesday night when she was assaulted by a man and woman who struck her several times and robbed her of $57. The woman received minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Westwood Ave. of more than $200 and a ring Thursday morning in the 1800 block of Moreland Ave. The value of the ring was not known.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman stopped two women as they walked in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. early yesterday morning and demanded their money. One victim, a resident of the 400 block of Yale Ave., gave up $30 to the man. The other person, a resident of the 2400 block of Edmondson Ave., had no money.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1300 block of N. Calhoun St. was attacked Wednesday night in the 1300 block of Laurens St. and robbed of her purse containing more than $100. During the robbery, the victim was knocked to the pavement and sustained minor injuries.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into a house in the 1100 block of W. Lexington St. yesterday morning and stole a steel bathtub valued at $300.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man armed with an unidentified object robbed a resident of the 1600 block of Harlem Ave. of her purse Wednesday night while the victim was walking in the 1700 block of Laurens St. The man escaped with more than $200.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A money order for $300 and $75 cash were taken from a resident of the 2100 block of Walbrook Ave. yesterday evening by a gunman who stopped the victim in the 2300 block of W. North Ave.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at nearly $400 was stolen from a house in the 500 block of Baker St. yesterday after someone entered by forcing the front door. Taken was a water heater and several feet of copper tubing.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A burglar entered a house in the 2700 block of McCulloh St. yesterday morning through a side window and stole a TV valued at nearly $500.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A woman wainjured during an incident yesterday morning in her home in the 1200 block of Demarcy Way, and police arrested a man and were holding him pending charges. The victim, Margaret Kates, was attacked by a man in her home about 1 a.m. who struck her with his fists and then threw a bike at her. Before fleeing, the man, who is known to the victim, robbed her of $2. The woman was taken to the Francis Scott Key Medical Center, where she was treated and released. The man was arrested shortly after the incident and was expected to be charged with aggravated assault and robbery.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 400 block of N. Wolfe St. was robbed of more than $100 yesterday morning by two men, one armed with an unknown object, who attacked him as he walked near his home. After striking the victim in the face and knocking him to the pavement, the men took his money and escaped. The man's eye was injured, but he refused medical treatment. Later, police arrested a resident of the 1500 block of Lester Morton Court at Hollander Ridge and were holding him at the station pending armed robbery and assault charges.
