Services for Brenda J. King, 35, will take place at 10:00 a.m. today at the Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis.
Ms. King, an Annapolis resident for five years, died of cancer Aug. 30.
She was a nurse in the maternity ward at Holy Cross Hospital, where her colleagues recall that she worked "with love and action."
She was a member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Annapolis and the Severna Park Cancer Support Group.
She is survived by her parents, Keith Richardson of Annapolis and Joann Spangler of Adrian, Mich.; her stepmother, Joann Spangler of Annapolis; brothers, Tim Clymer of Adrian, Mich., and Tony Richardson of Annapolis; sisters, Barbara Richardson and Karen Merz, both of Brooklyn, Mich., and Kendra Richardson of Annapolis; and grandparents, Clyde and Billyie Richardson of St. Lucie, Fla.
