Baltimore City

THEFT: Central District -- A badge and an identification card belonging to a U.S. Park Police officer were stolen from his personal car early today while the vehicle was parked in the 500 block of Commerce St. The thief entered by breaking a window.

THEFT: Central District -- Clothing valued at $500 was stolen from a car parked in the first block of W. 22nd St. yesterday evening. The owner of the car, a resident of the 2100 block of St. Paul St., said the car was entered by forcing a door lock.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into Chief Wholesalers in the 800 block of W. Baltimore St. Monday night by knocking a hole in the wall of an adjoining vacant building and stole $700 in cash and an unknown quantity of cigarettes.

SHOOTING: Western District -- Morris Taylor, of the 4800 block of Homer Ave., was released from the University of Maryland Medical Center yesterday morning after he was shot in the neck during an argument with two men over cab fare in the 2300 block of Edmondson Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of Windy Falls Way in Cockeysville, Baltimore County, was robbed of a necklace and a ring valued at $1,000 when he was stopped by a gunman while walking in the 1100 block of W. North Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A Carlisle, Pa., man was robbed of more than $1,000 early yesterday morning in the 200 block of N. Fulton Ave. by a man who attacked him.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 700 block of W. Lafayette Ave. of $25 about 8:30 a.m. yesterday in the 1500 block of N. Smallwood St.

THEFT: Western District -- Stereo equipment and a CB radio, valued at more than $600, were stolen between Monday night and yesterday morning from a car parked in the 2700 block of Windsor Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Snowball" in connection with the armed robbery of a resident of the 2100 block of N. Fremont Ave. near his home yesterday morning. The gunman escaped with a wallet and more than $100 in cash.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Reisterstown Road was shot at yesterday evening by a gunman during an argument near the victim's home. The victim was walking near his home about 9 p.m. when a man got out of a car and began the argument. When the victim turned to walk away, the other man pulled out a gun and fired one shot.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A woman robbed a resident of the 1400 block of Mountmor Court of $60 during an argument in his home yesterday evening.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A circular saw was stolen from a house in the 5300 block of Belleville Ave. after someone forced his way in Monday afternoon.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $1,400 was stolen from a house in the 3600 block of Beehler Ave. by someone who broke in yesterday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Westwood Ave. was robbed of cash and property, all valued at nearly $600, Monday night by a gunman in the 2200 block of Westbury Ave.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- An oak table valued at $200 was taken during a break-in at a house in the 6000 block of Pimlico Road Monday. The thief broke through a porch window.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Cash and cigarettes, all valued at more than $200, was stolen from Roper's grocery store in the 4100 block of Pimlico Road between Monday night and yesterday morning by someone who forced a rear door.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Roslyn Ave. was robbed of more than $100 early yesterday by a gunman in the 5700 block of Reisterstown Road.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Northwestern District -- A man was arrested yesterday and was held overnight pending charges he robbed a resident of the 3800 block of Norfolk Ave. of a small sum at gunpoint in the 3000 block of Chelsea Terrace.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- An employee of Kenneth Law Enterprises in the 4600 block of Park Heights Ave. was robbed of a bank deposit bag late Monday morning by a gunman near the firm's office. The gunman escaped with more than $100.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4400 block of Kathland Ave. was placing groceries inside his car in the 4600 block of Liberty Heights Ave. late yesterday morning when he was approached from behind by a gunman who robbed him of his money.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Ten cartons of cigarettes valued at $140 were stolen by someone who forced the front door and broke into the Denison food market in the 500 block of N. Denison St. early yesterday.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A fax machine and a radio were stolen from the Harbour linen service in the 2900 block of Whittington Ave. after someone broke in between Monday night and yesterday morning.
