Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. was robbed of more than $100 Sunday evening by a gunman in an elevator in her apartment building.

CUTTING: Western District -- Police today were seeking a 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman in connection with the cutting of a man in the 900 block of N. Mount St. The victim, Edward Boissea, a resident of the 900 block of N. Mount St., was walking near his home late Saturday night when he was attacked. Following the attack, Mr. Boissea was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment and released.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed a resident of the 600 block of Smithson St. of more than $100 and a half-pint of rum Saturday night as he walked in the 1600 block of Laurens St. The men, one armed with a handgun, jumped out of a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass about 10:30 p.m. and demanded the money.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Rokeby Road was shot in a finger at 12:05 a.m. yesterday while talking on a telephone in the 2800 block of Baker St. Two men, one with a handgun, fired six shots. The wounded man was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

CAB HOLDUP: Western District -- A Royal cab driver was robbed by a passenger at knifepoint of an undisclosed amount of money early yesterday morning while driving in the first block of N. Poppleton St. The cabbie was slightly cut during a tussle with the robber.

RAPE/ROBBERY: Western District -- Police today were seeking a man who raped a woman inside a house in the 1500 block of Baker St. early yesterday and then robbed her of $20. The victim, a resident of the 1500 block of Baker St., was walking near her home about 5 a.m. yesterday when she was forced into a nearby house by a man armed with a claw hammer.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man yesterday and were holding him at the station pending robbery charges and a bail review hearing. A resident of the 3000 block of Granada Ave. was walking in the 2500 block of Druid Hill Ave. early yesterday morning when he was stopped by a man armed with a knife who threatened to cut him if he didn't give up his money. After taking property valued at more than $100, the armed man fled.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Four men were arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the robbery of a man in the 1600 block of Riggs Ave. The victim, a resident of the 1000 block of N. Calhoun St., was walking down the street at 2 p.m. when he was stopped by four men, one armed with a handgun, who forced him to give up his property. Later, police investigating the robbery arrested four men and recovered the victim's property.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Balmor Court was standing outside her home yesterday evening when a man approached and threatened her with a knife. The woman was not injured and later police arrested a suspect in the case and were holding him at the station pending assault and deadly weapon charges.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- An out-of-town woman was today listed in stable condition at the Maryland Shock-Trauma Center after she was struck in the head by a bottle that was thrown into a crowd of people Sunday night in Druid Hill Park.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 3700 block of Green Spring Ave. over the weekend and stole tools valued at nearly $300. Entry was gained by forcing a door.

THEFT: Northern District -- A 12-speed mountain bike valued at $500 was stolen over the weekend from a bike rack attached to the rear of a car owned by a student at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun entered Dollar Bill's, in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave., Saturday night and forced an employee to hand over more than $100.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Lawina Ave. was walking in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. late Saturday night when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who forced him to give up his money. The gunman escaped after robbing the man of more than $200 in cash.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A woman was walking in the 3000 block of W. North Ave. yesterday afternoon when she was attacked from the rear by a man who grabbed her around the neck and stole her purse. The victim, a resident of the 1600 block of N. Rosedale St., said the purse contained cash and property, all valued at nearly $100.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone broke into a sportswear company on West Pratt Street over the weekend and stole a handgun and cash. Employees of Olympic sportswear, in the 2100 block of W. Pratt St., said someone entered their building through the roof yesterday and stole $70 in cash and a .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun.
