FISHING

HUNTING/SHOOTING

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 16 and 23: Hopewell Fish & Game of Stewartstown, Pa., is sponsoring high-powered rifle championships starting at 5:30 p.m. each day. Saturday: Southern Maryland Wildlife Festival Five-Stand Sporting Clays Fun Shoot at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Skeet Range in Indian Head, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds to benefit Maryland Quail Unlimited and the Ruffed Grouse Society.
