The Carroll Christian High School fall sports season will start early next week with the volleyball and boys soccer teams ready for action.

Both teams will open the season at Grace Academy at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The soccer team, under second-year coach Dave Wisner, is coming off a 4-7 season.

Wisner is looking for steady improvement as the season progresses.

"We're coming along pretty well," he said. "We're pretty solid and experienced on defense and have a lot of talent up front with little experience.

"I think we'll score a little more than last year," he said. "We're going to have our midfielders attacking more to get everyone involved in the offense."

Judy Mead will guide Carroll Christian's volleyball team this season.
