Notice To Readers

August 25, 1992

When The Sun introduced new, consolidated stock listings last week, many readers said the type was difficult to read, particularly the fractions. Today's consolidated stock listings use larger numbers and more spacing between items to make the listings easier to read.

If you cannot find a stock, please call and we will help you locate it or find out why it was not in the listing. Call on 332-6400; if that number is busy, please call 332-6213 and leave a recorded message; we will call you back later in the day.

We also introduced a new mutual funds table on Sunday that includes performance ratings within 16 groups of investment objectives. Because of programming errors, the "52-week high" column in this table repeated the weekly high for each fund. Also, a number of funds were placed in incorrect investment objectives. Thanks to the many readers who noted these mistakes. They will be corrected in this Sunday's table.
