* Sea-Land Service Inc. relocated to 2310 Broening Highway, Maritime Center II-Suite 150, Baltimore.

* Maleson Advertising Inc., a Baltimore-based advertising and marketing agency, changed its name to Maleson-Naylor as a result of the appointment of James Naylor Jr. to president/chief operating officer.

* Trillium, a women's clothing boutique at Greenspring Station in Baltimore, was acquired by Sima Blum.

* McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond, a public accounting and business consulting firm, relocated one of its Rockville offices to 200A Monroe St., Suite 225.

* SFA Inc., a research and development firm in Landover, acquired some assets and liabilities of Frederick Electronics Corp. and Futurecomms Inc. in Frederick from Plantronics Inc. in Santa Cruz, Calif. The acquisitions will operating as a subsidiary, SFA/Datacomm Inc. Roland C. Gerard, former president of Frederick Electronics and Futurecomms, was named general manager of the subsidiary.

KUDOS

* Andrew A. Bulleri was selected as a participant in a National Science Foundation workshop for college mathematics teachers. Mr. Bulleri is a professor of mathematics at Howard Community College.

* C. Daniel Saunders, an attorney in Chestertown, was appointed to the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland by the Maryland Court of Appeals.

* CSX Intermodal in Hunt Valley and its partner, the Trailer-Mate division of Rail-Van Consolidated of Columbus, Ohio, received the second consecutive Carrier of the Year award from Mobil Chemical Company's Plastic Packaging Division, Southeast region.

* Baltimore Gas & Electric Co.'s Conserving Our Energy and Preserving Our Environment Program received a Certificate of Environmental Achievement from Renew America, a Washington-based environmental organization. The program is a three-day seminar for teachers from upper elementary through high school grades to learn about the impact of energy and conservation on the environment.

* William K. Flanigan was named a certified employee benefits specialist by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Mr. Flanigan is a consultant in the Health and Welfare Practice of W. F. Corroon-Herget Division, a compensation, actuarial and benefits consulting firm in Baltimore.

* Dr. Ali M. Sedaghat, an associate professor of accounting for Loyola College in Baltimore, was named a KPMG Peat Marwick Alumni Fellow at Loyola College. Mr. Sedaghat will serve as a liaison between KPMG Peat Marwick and the college accounting department for two years.

PUBLIC SERVICE

* Claude E. Peacock was named to the board of trustees for the Maryland Chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Mr. Peacock is general supervisor of distribution operations for Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.

* Jewish Big Brother and Big Sister League elected the following officers: president, Howard Cardin, partner in the law firm Cardin and Gitomer; first vice president, Neil C. Kahn; second vice president, Jeffrey Helman; treasurer, Linda A. Hurwitz.

* Dr. Paul Gianandrea, a psychiatrist at the University of Maryland Hospital, was elected to the Mount de Sales Academy Board of Trustees.

* The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, raised $22 million during the 1992 campaign. The organization also elected the following officers: chairman, Alfred I. Coplan; first vice president and vice chairman for community planning and budgeting, Richard M. Lansburgh; vice chairman for administration, Carole Sibel; vice chairman for campaign, Barbara L. Himmelrich; vice chairman for women's division, Brenda B. Lipitz; treasurer, Joseph A. Cooper; assistant treasurer, Richard Davison; secretary, David Hirshhorn; and assistant secretary, Benjamin Kuntz.

* Lynn Wintriss was appointed chair of the Baltimore Rotary Foundation Inc., the division that funds the charitable activities of the Baltimore Rotary Club. Ms. Wintriss is a partner with the Baltimore-based law firm Semmes, Bowen & Semmes.

* Fuel Fund of Central Maryland elected the following officers: president, William J. McLennan, regional marketing director for Household Bank; vice president, Norman Baier of IBM; secretary, Clare Miller of BG&E; assistant secretary, Debra Brown Felser of AFL-CIO Community Services; treasurer, Katherine Stierhoff; assistant treasurer, Robert Imhoff of WMAR-TV.

* Baltimore Harbor Endowment elected James J. Pomfret president. Mr. Pomfret is vice president and assistant manager of Smith Barney Harris Upham & Co. The organization also elected the following board members: Douglas Walker of Penn Mar Casting; Joe Fonte of Signature Management; Elinor Bacon of Bacon & Co. and Betty Jean Murphy of Savannah Development Co.

* Ballet Theatre of Annapolis elected the following officers: Bettze Libson, president; Susan Stroud-Davies, first vice president; Tom Saquella, second vice president; Linda Lamone, secretary; and John Menocal, treasurer. Judy Duckett, Barbara Jackson and Patricia Krzeminski were named members of the board.

* Sanford M. Baklor was named chairman of the board for the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Mr. Baklor is vice president of Executive Sounding Board Ltd.

* William J. Crowley Jr. was named chairman of the board of directors of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Crowley is partner in charge of the Baltimore Audit and Business Advisory division of Arthur Andersen & Co.

* Portfolio Consultants Inc., a money management consulting firm, was opened by Edwin Boyer, president, at 100 West Road, Suite 300, in Towson.

* KaPetty & Talbott Florists opened at Putty Hill Plaza on Belair Road in Baltimore.

* Chesapeake Development Inc., a marketing consulting firm, was opened at 100 West Road, Suite 300 in Towson by James E. Peavler, president.

* Katz Insurance Co. opened an office in the 5500 block of Sinclair Lane in Baltimore.
