Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction.

New highway projects

I-95, from Route 175 to Route 32, Howard County -- Southbound will be reduced to two lanes until 4 p.m. today, for patch work. Northbound will also be reduced to two lanes but three lanes will be available by noon today. Drivers are advised that lanes may split.

West Ring Factory Road, between Route 924 and Route 24, south of Bel Air -- Will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for reconstruction until February. Motorists are urged to use Bel Air South Parkway.

I-695 inner loop -- Today from 5 a.m. to noon, two lanes at Exit 23 over the Jones Falls Expressway will be closed for bridge deck repairs.

Bus route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route changes for this week. For information, call 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

No. 11

On Saturday between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., an outdoor music festival will be held on Maryland Avenue at North Avenue, necessitating the following temporary route change. Southbound via regular route on Maryland Avenue to North Avenue, east on North Avenue, south on St. Paul Street, west on Lafayette Avenue, south on Maryland Avenue, then via regular route.

NFL Football

On Thursday, The National Football League will hold a preseason game between the Miami Dolphins and the New Orleans Saints at Memorial Stadium. To improve the flow of traffic in the area, 33rd Street will be made one-way eastbound before the game and one-way westbound after the game, necessitating the following route changes.

No. 3 -- Before the game: westbound buses will travel regular route to 33rd Street and Loch Raven Boulevard, south on Loch Raven, west on Exeter Hall, west on 29th Street, north on Barclay Street, west on 31st Street, south on St. Paul Street, then via regular route.

After the game: eastbound buses will travel regular route to Charles and 31st streets, east on 31st, north on Barclay Street, east on 32nd Street, north on Tinges Lane, east on Gorsuch Avenue, north on Loch Raven, east on 33rd, then via regular route.

No. 22 -- Before the game: westbound buses will travel regular route to 33rd Street and Loch Raven Boulevard, south on Loch Raven, west on Exeter Hall, west on 29th Street, north on Barclay Street, west on University Parkway, then via regular route.

After the game: eastbound buses will travel regular route to University Parkway and 33rd Street, south on Barclay Street, east on 32nd Street, north on Tinges Lane, east on Gorsuch Avenue, north on Loch Raven, east on 33rd, then via regular route.

Route change

No. 150 -- Until further notice, the route of westbound buses has been changed because of construction on Saratoga Street. Buses will temporarily travel the regular route northbound on Eutaw Street to Saratoga, north on Eutaw, west on Franklin Street, west on the Interstate 170 Expressway, then via regular route.
