A 40-year-old woman walking in West Baltimore was attacked by three men and raped late last night, Baltimore police said.

The woman told investigators she was approached by three men at 11:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. Carey St., said Agent Doug Price, a police spokesman. The men offered to buy her a drink, and when she refused, they grabbed her and pulled her into a vacant house.

The woman said one of the men raped her there, Agent Price said. After the attack, the woman ran out of the house and called police.

William Henry Craig, 37, of the 500 block of W. Preston St., was found by police at the house and charged with rape and assault, Agent Price said. He is being held pending a bail hearing.

Investigators are looking for the other men.

The woman was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released, police said.
