Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Central District -- An out-of-town resident was robbed of a 35mm camera by a man with a knife about 9 p.m. yesterday while walking in the 200 block of W. Pratt St.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 400 block of W. Lanvale St. of $100 shortly before 10 p.m. yesterday as he walked near his home.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2100 block of Division St. was hit in the face and robbed of $35 and a book of food stamps while walking in the 2100 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 3 a.m. Sunday. The assailant stopped his car to assault the woman, then drove off.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one with a gun, robbed TC a resident of the 900 block of Homestead St. of a beeper valued at $100 early today as he walked in the 3000 block of Independence Ave.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Police were holding a man in connection with assaulting a woman and robbing her of $20 early Sunday as she walked in the 1500 block of Edmondson Ave., near her home. The woman was knocked down from behind, injuring a knee.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Clothing and several pairs of shoes were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Moreland Ave. over the weekend.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A apartment resident in the 500 block of Dolphin St. was robbed of nearly $20 about 8 a.m. Sunday by a man in the 1700 block of W. North Ave.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men attacked a resident of the 2000 block of Clifton Ave. while he was riding his bike in the 2200 block of N. Monroe St. Sunday afternoon and robbed him of the bike, which was valued at more than $100.

STABBING/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman Sunday and charged her with stabbing a resident of the 600 block of N. Franklintown Road with a knife during an incident in the 1500 block of W. Fayette St. Police said the victim, Sheila Anders, was stabbed in the hand.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone broke into the maintenance shop at Edmondson Gardens, an apartment building in the 1700 block of Edmondson Ave., over the weekend and stole a lawn mower, paint and several tools worth more than $360.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A man was stabbed in the head with an ice pick late Sunday during an attack by two men while he walked with a woman in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. The victim, James Moore, was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock-Trauma Center today.

THEFT: Western District -- A small refrigerator worth $100 was stolen from a house in the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave. over the weekend.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking two men who attacked a resident of the 2200 block of W. North Ave. with pieces of wood when he answered a knock at his door Sunday night. No motive was given.

STABBING/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman yesterday and were holding her at the women's detention center at the Central District pending stabbing charges. Police said Ronald King, of the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Ave., was arguing with a woman in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. early yesterday morning when the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed Mr. King. The victim, police said, was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Stereo equipment, a VCR and other items valued at more than $1,400 were stolen from a dwelling in the 1100 block of N. Monroe St. over the weekend after someone entered through a second-floor window.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Southwestern District -- Police arrested two men while they pushed a diaper service's linen cart down Dukeland Street and charged them with breaking into a nearby diaper service company and stealing sheets, towels and other linens. Police said Officer Martin Kimball was at Dukeland Street and Wilmarco Avenue Sunday night when he spotted two men pushing a linen cart owned by the New-Dyper baby service company in the 300 block of Cowan Ave.

ABDUCTION/RAPE: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Flowerton Road reported she was raped this weekend near her home after being forced into a car by a gunman, who drove a short distance before forcing her out of the car and attacking her.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man was walking in the 500 block of N. Payson St. when he was attacked by another man who robbed him of his wallet containing $200. The victim, a resident of the 500 block of S. Monroe St, told police he was walking alone around 7 a.m. Sunday when he was attacked from behind.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Tommy" in connection with the robbery Sunday afternoon of the Dollar Bill, a variety store in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. Police said the man entered the store around 4 p.m. and ordered an employee to open the safe while pointing a handgun at him. The employee complied, giving the gunman an undisclosed amount.
