The deadline to reserve booth space at the Anne Arundel Business-to-Business Expo '92 is Aug. 26.
Sponsored by the Anne Arundel Trade Council, the Chamber of Commerce for Anne Arundel County, Expo '92 will feature space for 136 exhibits including new business minibooths available to companies that have begun operation since Jan. 1, 1990. The expo is scheduled for Sept. 18.
AACIA plans meeting
Anne Arundel Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Agents (AACIA) will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at 2131 Espey Court, Priest Bridge Business Park, Crofton.
Gardiner Realty will sponsor this month's meeting, featuring guest speaker Joe Keenan from Marcor Environmental Services.
Mr. Keenan will discuss the benefits of providing an environmental assessment when selling real estate and describe his company's services.
Members and guests of AACIA meet monthly to exchange information on commercial property for sale and lease.
Trade Council mixer
The Anne Arundel Trade Council will sponsor a Business Mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Conte Building, 116 Defense Highway, Annapolis.

The Trade Council is asking for attendees to bring contributions of new school supplies to the mixer. Contributions will go to the council's back-to-school drive for needy youth.

Clean air program
A Maryland Department of the Environment official will discuss the requirements of the Clean Air Act at a free program sponsored by the Anne Arundel Trade Council at 9 a.m. Aug. 18 at the Trade Council offices, Ritchie Highway.
The briefing, for employers of 100 or more employees and those with fleets of 10 or more vehicles, will cover the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments.

University hires firm
Musical PacRat Inc., a video production company in Annapolis, has delivered a set of custom-designed patchbays for the recording studio of Alabama State University.
The upgrade provides for the complete integration of the university's equipment by centralizing signal routing within the studio. Information: 841-2530.
Second National sales
Second National Federal Savings Bank announced sales of foreclosed commercial and residential real estate properties totaling over $33.5 million for the first six months of 1992.
Of those sales, $24.8 million had settled by June 30. Of the remainder, $4.5 million are contracted sales secured by cash deposits, and $4.2 million were bought at foreclosures. Properties Inc. include two marinas, a luxury hotel, resort lots and residential and commercial tracts of land.
Women's club dinner
The Christian Business and Professional Women's After 5 Club's "Beauty and the Heat" Dinner is at 6 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Chartwell Country Club, Severna Park.
