Man, 77 robbed in Brooklyn Park
A 77-year-old man was robbed Wednesday outside a Brooklyn Park convenience store, county police reported.
Police said the man was getting into his car at Lucky's Store on 10th Avenue and Ritchie Highway at 3:10 p.m. when a teen-ager with a knife walked up and demanded his wallet.
The man refused and the two began to struggle before the robber took the wallet. The 77-year-old man received a minor cut on the forearm during the struggle.
The victim could describe the robber only as black.
3 men arrested on drugs charges
Three Pasadena residents were charged with possession with intent to distribute PCP after narcotics detectives raided their home Wednesday night.
According to the police report, the officers searched the home at 10:15 p.m. after they received information that PCP was being distributed from there.
The officers said they seized 2 ounces of liquid PCP with a street nTC value of $700.
Herbert R. Smith, 61, and Robert Smith, 28, both of the 1700 block of Grandview Road, were home at the time of the raid and were taken to Eastern District station to be charged. Bruce Smith, 26, of the same address, turned himself in at Eastern District, police said.
Boy, 2, injured in fall into pool
A 2-year-old South County boy was in critical condition yesterday after falling into a backyard pool Wednesday morning.
