WESTMINSTER — Employees recognized

WESTMINSTER -- The first staff recognition dinner for Granite House employees was at the Westminster Riding Club June 4.

Board president Barbara Gundina presented staff members that had been employed by Granite House for more than five years with service awards.

Recipients were Lavonne Fiore, David Baldwin, Mary George, Mildred Hughes, Barbara Smith and Ginny Young.

Board treasurer Elaine Adkins presented Spencer Gear, executive director with a donation check contributed by board members.

This donation was made in honor of the just-recently retired board members Debbie Hilliard,

Mary Lou Dewey and Margaret Bailer Sullivan.

Realtor receives honor

WESTMINSTER

WESTMINSTER -- Local Realtors from O'Conor, Piper & Flynn recently were honored by the Carroll County Association of Realtors.

Westminster office award winners were: Paul and Betty Meyer, Top New Homes and Listing Team; Shirley Howes, Top New Homes Agent of the Year and Distinguished Sales Associate of the Year; and Sylvia Gorman, Realtor of the Year.

From the Hampstead office, Betty Hess received the Top Listing Agent of the year award.
