Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, stole a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck last night when the driver stopped at a red light in the 4600 block of Frederick Ave. The driver of the vehicle, a resident of the 1200 block of Frederick Road in Baltimore County, told police she and a friend were driving west about 11:45 p.m. when she stopped for a red light. Before the light turned green, two men, one armed with a gun, forced her and a passenger out of the truck and drove off. Police said the driver and her companion thought the robbery had occurred in the county and flagged down a passing county officer. After telling the officer what occurred, he drove the couple to the police station, where they reported the robbery. A few hours later, police recovered the victim's pickup truck in the 400 block of Thornfield Road. Police said the two men remain at large.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 400 block of Old Home Road in Baltimore County reported she was attempting to enter her car in the 5900 block of Belair Road when she was approached from the rear by a man who struck her and then stole her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said someone forced his way into a house in the 1200 block of Ramblewood Road over the weekend and stole property valued at $600. Police said the burglar escaped with a VCR, stereo equipment and cash.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3200 block of Burleith Ave. reported he was walking near his home about 1 a.m. yesterday when a man sprayed a chemical irritant in his face. Police said that while the victim was attempting to wipe the chemical from his eyes, the assailant robbed him of $32 and escaped.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A woman was robbed of her purse late Sunday night in the 2800 block of Reisterstown Road. The victim, a resident of the 300 block of Franklintown Road, reported she was walking along about 11 p.m. when she was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who demanded her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at less than $20.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4200 block of Fords Lane told police he was in the back yard of his home around 11 p.m. yesterday when he was accosted by a man armed with a handgun who demanded his money. Police said the victim gave the gunman $100.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered Fashion Cents, a clothing store in the Northwest Plaza Shopping Center in the 5700 block of Wabash Ave., about 6 p.m. yesterday, took money from a cash register and forced an employee to turn over a money bag. Police said the men fled with an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police said two men were robbed of their money and valuables yesterday afternoon while standing at a bus stop in the 2300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway. Police said the victims, one from the 1700 block of N. Appleton St., and the other from the 2800 block of W. North Ave., were waiting for a bus around 1 p.m. when they were accosted by a man armed with a sawed-off shotgun. After the robbery, the gunman got in a car parked nearby and drove off.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1900 block of Northbourne Road reported he was in the 5300 block of Willowton Road when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun. Police said the victim turned over an unknown sum to the man.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted three people in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights Ave. and robbed them of their money and valuables. Police said the value of the property was not known. The victims were residents of the 3900 block of Hillsdale Ave., the 3800 block of Mohawk Ave. and the 3100 block of Milford Ave.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- An employee of an Amoco service station in the 3300 block of Garrison Blvd. told police he was working in the station office when a man entered and threatened to blow the station up if he didn't give him money from the cash register. Police said the attendant gave an undisclosed sum to the man, who turned and walked away. Police said the robber did not display any weapon or explosive device.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Chelsea Terrace reported he was in the 3300 block of Grantley Ave. when he was stopped by a man who ordered him to turn over his money while implying he was armed with a gun. Police said the man fled with an undisclosed sum.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A Baltimore County resident reported he was robbed of his money Saturday afternoon while in the 4300 block of Park Heights Ave. The victim, a resident of the 6800 block of Dogwood Road, told police that shortly after 4 p.m. a man armed with a silver-colored handgun stopped him and demanded money. Police said the gunman took a small sum.
