3 arrested for drugs after traffic stop

County police charged three people with possession with intent to distribute PCP and seized 70 grams of the drug during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Park early Sunday morning.

At 1:50 a.m., officers on patrol on Marshall Road in a small industrial park saw a pickup truck with four people inside.

When the officers tried to stop the truck, the driver refused and a passenger threw a glass jar out of the window. When the truck stopped at the intersection of Marshall Road and Sixth Street, one of the men got out of the truck and ran down Marshall Road.

Police arrested Michelle Anne Kosar, 29, of the 100 block of Linden Ave. in Glen Burnie; Robert George Pawley, 26, of the 400 block of Hampton Road in Linthicum; and Harold Otis Edwin Bopst II, 31, of the 300 block of Milton Ave. in Glen Burnie.

The police report said Ms. Kosar also was charged with drunken driving. After police searched the truck, they confiscated the PCP, estimated to have a street value of $1,400.

Police also seized $547 from Ms. Kosar.

Man robbed of wallet in Brooklyn Park

A 52-year-old man told police he was robbed early Saturday morning outside a convenience store in Brooklyn Park.

According to the police report, the man was in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at Route 2 and Belle Grove Road when a man walked up behind him and pushed him to the ground. The robber took his wallet and ran away with another man and a woman.

Restaurant manager robbed at gunpoint

Two men robbed a Linthicum fast food restaurant late Friday night, county police reported.

Investigators said the robbers walked into the McDonald's on Nursery Road at 11 p.m. and put a gun to the manager's head, demanding money.

The manager gave the robbers cash and they left the restaurant.

Police described the gunman as a black man about 6 feet tall with a flat-top style haircut. The second robber is described as a black man about 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing a gray, hooded sweat shirt.

500 block of Central Ave.: July 26, entry gained through the door.
