Networking breakfast

The Greater Annapolis Chamber of Commerce will present a "Business Contacts" Networking Breakfast at 8 a.m. Thursday at tthe Chart House Restaurant in Annapolis.

The breakfast will be sponsored by the Gift Basket, Ecco Temporary Service, and O'Conor, Piper & Flynn.

Display tables will be set up for company literature, and formal table presentations will be given.

Admission is $15 for members and $30 for non-members.

Dinner for 'A' students

Casa Grande Restaurant in Annapolis is rewarding "A" students with a free South of the Border dinner entree during its annual "Straight A's Pays" education celebration.

Students should bring their original "Straight A's" final report card to Casa Grande, in the Annapolis Restaurant Park across from Annapolis Mall, to claim their free dinner entree.

The offer is good for students in first grade through college, Sundays through Thursdays, through July 30.

AACIA plans meeting

Anne Arundel Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Agents (AACIA) will meet at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 5 at 2131 Espey Court, Priest Bridge Business Park, Crofton.

Gardiner Realty will sponsor this month's meeting featuring guest speaker Joe Keenan, from Marcor Environmental Services.

Mr. Keenan will discuss the benefits of providing an environmental assessment when selling real estate and describe his company's services.

Members and guests of AACIA meet monthly to exchange information on commercial property for sale and lease.

Trade Council has mixer

The Anne Arundel Trade Council will sponsor a Business Mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Conte Building, 116 Defense Highway, Annapolis.

The mixer will be co-sponsored by Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems; Burch, Rhoads and Loomis; Joseph and Anthony Conte; Jan Ferguson Inc.; Maryland National Bank; David S. O'Brien; and Second Set of Hands.

The Trade Council is asking for attendees to bring contributions of new school supplies to the mixer. Contributions will go to the council's back-to-school drive for needy youth.

Paid reservations for members are $8.50 before Aug. 7, and $11 at the door. Non-member registration is $20.
