Concert-goer robbed Tuesday

A 21-year-old Harford County man was robbed by a group of unidentified men at a rock concert Tuesday night.

The man reported to police he was held down and beaten by five men after the John Cougar concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion. He was robbed of $20.

Man charged with robbery

A 22-year-old Baltimore man was charged with robbing an Ellicott City fast-food restaurant last week.

Leon Lamont Flowers, of the 1000 block of Tunbridge Road, was arrested Thursday night after Baltimore County police followed him to West Baltimore and found him hiding in the woods.

FOR THE RECORD - CORRECTION

Another man who police have not identified is being sought in connection with the robbery.

According to Howard police, two armed men entered the Wendy's Restaurant in the 9200 block of U.S. 40 at 11:20 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from two employees. Police say the men had entered through an unlocked rear door.

The men stole about $2,000 in cash from a safe and fled the store, driving away in a silver Honda Accord, police said.

After a description of the two men were broadcast to Baltimore County police, one of their officers spotted the car traveling east toward Edmondson Village in the city. When the car stopped at the 4100 block of Lindley Ave., the officer said he saw two men running into a nearby wooded area.

Police found Mr. Flowers in the woods near the 4200 block of Rokeby Road around midnight. Police also found a laundry bag with money and a .45-caliber handgun inside the car, which had been reported stolen from Baltimore July 18.

Police have charged Mr. Flowers with robbery, a handgun violation and car theft.

Robbery suspect is extradited

A 25-year-old man wanted for robbing two fast-food restaurants last year was extradited to Howard County from Florida last week by police.

Police say Mr. Gustave was implicated in the robberies by a partner, who was convicted of the crimes last year.
