3 face drug charges after raid at home

Three people have been charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine after a Tuesday raid at a Havre de Grace home by the Harford County Joint Narcotics Task Force.

Deputy DeWayne Curry, a spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, said Marcellus Evans Quickley, 18, Pacquin Karl Melvin, 24, and Romaine Monta Bishop, 21, all of Havre de Grace, were arrested and charged. Deputy Curry said Mr. Quickley was released on $5,000 bond; Mr. Melvin was being held at the Harford County Detention Center on $100,000 bond; Mr. Bishop was being held without bail at the Detention Center.

Deputy Curry said two ounces of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $13,460, cocaine paraphernalia and $2,547 in cash were seized.

West Bel Air Avenue: Harford National Bank reported the theft July 15 of $4,450 as a result of forgery.

East Bel Air Avenue: A Havre de Grace man reported his federal refund check for $1,135 was stolen July 15.

900 block S. Stepney Road: Theft of a lawn tractor worth $4,292 from a shed July 14.

1400 block Perrywood Drive: Theft of a 12-speed bike worth $300 July 14.


2800 block Churchville Road: Theft of 30 cartons of cigarettes worth $561 from the High's Store July 15.

3000 block Churchville Road: Theft July 16 of wood box and stereo equipment from a vehicle. Items were valued at $6,220.


600 block Lacewood Drive: Motor vehicle tampering July 17, damage to the door of vehicle estimated at $600.

700 block Sequoia Drive: Breaking and entering at a residence. Damage to window, awning and sheet rock, and theft July 16 of a shop vacuum, paint, paint rollers and a tray worth a total of $440.

900 block Woodbridge Court: Malicious destruction July 16 to window of a vehicle and theft of clothing, a Walkman and a car stereo, worth a total of $670.

Havre de Grace

800 block Ontario St.: A home was broken into, and three gold rings and other items worth a total of $6,030 stolen July 16.


3000 block Harford Road: Breaking and entering July 15 at a residence and theft of two guns, valued at a total of $500, from a gun cabinet.


500 block Joppa Farm Road: Theft July 16 of three picnic tables worth $900 from Joppatowne High School.


400 block Dougherty Drive: A cat was shot by a BB gun July 14.
