Accomplishments: Three CCTA titles in six years; won -- mixed doubles and Carroll County Open Tournament in 1991 and top women's ladder tennis player at Fort Meade.

Recipient's comments: "I feel fortunate that I was chosen. There are a lot of good athletes in Carroll County who are deserving of it. I don't know how I was picked. The enthusiasm and quality of tennis is growing in Carroll County because of leaders like Sue and George Rouiller. I plan to help encourage the development of tennis in the county."
