Baltimore City

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Colborne Road reported that someone he knows entered his home and stole a TV set and a portable air conditioner. Police said the property was valued at $800.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Police reported that property valued at more than $600 was stolen from a home in the first block of S. Hilton St. after someone entered through a window. Police said the intruder escaped with a VCR and a TV set.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Police said stereo equipment valued at $3,000 was stolen from a home in the 100 block of S. Wickham Road this week. A resident of the house told police the property was stolen while his daughter entertained several of her friends at a party.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1000 block of Parksley Ave. reported that someone entered the front porch of her home early yesterday and stole a lawn chair. Police said the furniture was valued at $40.

ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- Police said a resident of the 200 block of Furrow St. was assaulted yesterday morning by three youths in the 2200 block of Frederick Ave. He said they struck him with their fists and one cut him on the back with a sharp object. Police said the victim was not seriously injured.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 900 block of N. Woodington Road reported she was walking in the 1100 block of Woodington Road yesterday afternoon when a man came up from behind, knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse. Police said the man took cash and property, all valued at nearly $75.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Gist Ave. in Pimlico reported he was near his home Wednesday afternoon when he was attacked by two men who struck him with their fists. One assailant pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. Police said the armed man and his companion fled before officers arrived. The victim was not seriously injured. Police said they had no motive for the assault.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men armed with handguns forced their way into a house in the 3500 block of Virginia Ave. early Wednesday and robbed two men. Police said the gunmen escaped with more than $100 and fired several shots inside the house. Two other people also were in the house. No one was injured, police said.

STABBING: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of W. Fairmount Ave. was listed in good condition today at the Maryland Shock-Trauma Center after he was stabbed in the back last night by an unknown assailant. Police said the 26-year-old victim was found lying in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. around 9 p.m. by a police officer responding to a report of an injured man. Police said the attack apparently did not take place there but the victim was unable to tell them who stabbed him or why.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of W. Lafayette Ave. reported that someone broke into his home and stole a lawn mower. Police said the property was valued at nearly $200 and that entry was gained by forcing the front door.

THEFT: Western District -- Police today were seeking two men in the theft of nearly $1,300 worth of property from a dwelling in the 1900 block of N. Payson St. Police said the men reportedly stole a 19-inch TV set and a VCR.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Delano Court was walking in the 1400 block of N. Mount St. when he was attacked by several youths who struck him with their fists and kicked him. The youths robbed the victim of $80. Police said the victim was not seriously injured.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of N. Fulton Ave. was listed in fair condition today at the University of Maryland Medical Center after she was attacked by another woman Wednesday night who struck her several times over the head with a pair of high heel shoes. Police said the victim suffered multiple lacerations to the head. Police said the suspect, a resident of the 5000 block of N. Fulton Ave., was being sought.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone broke into a car while it was parked in the 2700 block of Riggs Ave. yesterday and stole property valued at $400. Police said the thief escaped with a radio and at least one speaker. Police said the vehicle was entered through the driver's door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police said a metal auto engine stand was stolen yesterday morning from a house in the 700 block of N. Arlington St. Police said the auto-repair equipment was valued at $200 and that entry was gained by forcing a door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Mountmor Court reported he was riding his multispeed bicycle in the 1600 block of Baker St. yesterday afternoon when he was attacked by a man who struck him with his fists and knocked him off the bike. The victim told police the bike was valued at nearly $130.
