Baltimore City

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A 36-year-old Pimlico man was listed in serious but stable condition today at Sinai Hospital after someone handcuffed him inside a warehouse in the 3600 block of Woodland Ave. yesterday and shot him in the left hip. Police said an employee of AA Oil Recovery was walking near the building about 11 a.m. when he saw the victim, a resident of the 3600 block of Woodbine Ave., stumble out of the doorway and onto the pavement. He was handcuffed with his hands in front of him. Police said the victim received emergency treatment at the scene before being taken to the hospital. Investigators said they knew of no motive for the shooting.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Woodland Ave. reported he was walking in the 3500 block of Woodland Ave. when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who demanded his money. Police said the victim gave the gunman about $30.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man armed with a handgun robbed a beauty salon Tuesday evening. Police said a man entered the Beauty Mart in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. about 6:30 p.m. and ordered an employee to give him the contents of the cash register. Police said the gunman fled with less than $50.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 1500 block of N. Mount St. reported she was walking in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Road Tuesday night when she was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who demanded her money. Police said the woman gave the gunman cash and personal property, valued at more than $60.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- City officials reported that someone broke into a building at the Forest Park Municipal Golf Course in the 2900 block of Hillsdale Ave. Tuesday night and stole a golf cart. Police said other city-owned property also was taken.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Boarman Ave. reported he was walking in the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday when a man armed with a handgun stopped him and demanded his money. Police said the gunman fled with $5.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police said a man armed with a handgun robbed a woman of her car early yesterday in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway. The victim, a resident of the 3400 block of Alto Road, told police she was standing outside her car shortly after 1 a.m. when she was assaulted by a man who knocked her to the pavement and drove off in her 1986 Isuzu.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of E. 35th St. reported yesterday that someone forced his way into her home over the weekend and stole property valued at more than $2,700 from the bedroom. Police said entry was gained through a rear door.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police said two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a woman of her purse early yesterday about 2:20 a.m. as she got out of her car in front of her home in the 1500 block of Burnwood Road. Police said the woman was approached by two men who greeted her, saying, "Good morning." When the woman returned the greeting, one men pulled a handgun and demanded her her purse. Police said the men escaped with cash and property, valued at more than $200.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said someone entered an apartment in the 4800 block of Hamilton Ave. Tuesday afternoon and stole video game equipment valued at more than $400. Police said entry appeared to have been with a key.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that property valued at nearly $1,300 was stolen from an apartment in the 4900 block of Goodnow Road after someone broke through the plaster wall of the adjoining apartment. Police said the intruder stole a VCR, three watches, a diamond ring and a telephone.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police arrested two men and charged them with breaking into a Frederick Avenue tavern. Police responding to a burglar alarm at the Lighthouse Bar in the 2300 block of Frederick Ave. arrested the men Tuesday afternoon and recovered $800 worth of property taken in the break-in. Charged with burglary were James Glenn of the 2500 block of W. Pratt St. and James Richardson of the 1100 block of Ashburton St. Bail information the men was not available.

BURGLARY: Southwestern -- A resident of the 5300 block of Lantern Court told police someone broke into his apartment through a front window and stole property valued at more than $1,100.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone kicked in a wooden panel of a garage in the 500 block of S. Monroe St. and stole four tires and several tools. Police said the value of the property was not known.

THEFT: Southern District -- Employees of OST Trucking Co. in the 2100 block of Wicomico St. reported that someone entered one of their trailers Tuesday night while it was parked on company property and stole several tires. Police said the value of the tires was not known.
