Baltimore City

GUN THEFT: Southern District -- A resident of the 3200 block of Hollins Ferry Road reported that someone entered the bedroom of his home this week and stole a .38-caliber revolver valued at more than $450. He suspects a female acquaintance.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 1600 block of W. Lombard St. between Monday night and yesterday morning and stole property valued at more than $1,000. Entry was gained through an unlocked front door.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Southern District -- Police responding to a burglar alarm at the Time to Play Day Care Center in the 2400 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill yesterday morning arrested two youths as they attempted to flee from the building. Police said $50 worth of property taken from the center was recovered. Juvenile charges were filed, and the youths were released to the custody of their parents.

ARSON: Northwestern District -- Police today were seeking a suspect in an arson early yesterday at a house in the 3600 block of Manchester Ave. Police said a man poured a flammable liquid inside the house around 4 a.m. and set it ablaze. The fire, which caused extensive damage to the dwelling, was declared under control in less than an hour. No one was injured.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Carlisle Ave. was walking in the 3000 block of Garrison Blvd. when a car occupied by two men pulled up and stopped. One man pointed a gun at the victim and ordered him to give up his money. The victim turned over an undisclosed sum of money to the men, who drove off.

ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested one man and were seeking another in the attempted armed robbery of a man on a street in Pimlico late Monday night. Police said the victim, a resident of the 5600 block of Fernpark Ave., was in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. around 11:30 p.m. when two men attempted rob him. Later, police arrested a 24-year-old man and were holding him at the station pending charges.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Avondale Ave. told police she was in the 3300 block of W. Belvedere Ave. around 2 a.m. yesterday when she was stopped by a man and a woman robbed her of more than $100.

CUTTING: Western District -- Police said a man was attacked by three men, one with a knife, about 2 a.m. yesterday in the 1000 block of N. Carey St. Police said the victim, of the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Ave., was stabbed in the left side with the knife. The victim was listed in fair condition today at Bon Secours Hospital. Police said they had no motive for the attack.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of N. Fulton Ave. reported he was in the 1700 block of W. North Ave. around 1 a.m. yesterday when he was stopped by three men, one with a handgun, who demanded his money. Police said the victim turned over a set of earrings and about $15 to the robbers. Later, police arrested a suspect and were holding him at the station pending charges.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police today were seeking a 30-year-old man in the robbery yesterday afternoon of a woman in the 1500 block of McKean Ave. The victim, a resident of the 1700 block of N. Bruce St., told police she was walking down the street around 1 p.m. when she was stopped by a male acquaintance who demanded the $30 bracelet she was wearing. When the woman refused, the man removed it from her wrist and fled.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man from the 900 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was robbed of $20 about 1 p.m. yesterday by a man who knocked him to the pavement as he walked along the 1100 block of Winchester St.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2600 block of Woodbrook Ave. reported she was walking in the 1500 block of Kensett St. yesterday when she was accosted by a man armed with a knife who demanded her money. Police said the woman gave $10 to the man.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police today were seeking a man in his late 20s and wearing a large bandage on his right knee in the robbery last night of a woman in the 1600 block of Moreland Ave. The victim, a resident of the 1600 block of Moreland Ave., told police she was walking near her home around 6 p.m. when a man armed with a handgun stopped her and demanded her money. Police said the woman had no money, but gave the man a gold chain she was wearing. Police said the jewelry was valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2100 block of Etting St. reported that someone broke into his home over the weekend and stole property valued at more than $1,000. Police said entry was gained through a rear window.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Employees of Bob's Body Shop in the 1000 block of N. Arlington Ave. reported that someone broke into their business early Monday and stole a metal box containing several tools. Police said the property was valued at $300.
