Brady Bunch's Greg

July 18, 1992|By Jean Marbella

It's going to be a very Brady Monday.

From dawn to dusk, and beyond, you won't be able to get away from actor Barry Williams, aka Greg Brady of "The Brady Bunch," who will be in the Baltimore area for a series of promotions.

The much beloved, much mocked "Brady Bunch," about a mother of three daughters and a father of three sons who marry and produce the most ickily perfect blended family, is enjoying a resurgence of popularity about 20 years after its original airing. Mr. Williams is behind much of that wave -- his recently published book, "Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg," is currently on the best-seller lists.

Here's where you can catch Mr. Williams on Monday:

From 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., he'll take phone calls on the 92 Q (92.3 FM) Morning Posse show. The number is (410) 481-1992.

Then, from noon to 2 p.m., he'll chat and sign copies of his book at White Marsh Mall, in front of Woodies.

And, finally, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., he'll attend 92 Q's "Return to the Polyester '70s" party at Martinique in Perring Plaza. Everyone over 21 is invited to put on a leisure suit or other equally humiliating period attire and disco (!) to those mercifully forgotten tunes.
