ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A teen-ager carrying a pistol and a snake attempted to rob a 25-year-old man early yesterday in the 400 block of Biddle St. The youth had the snake around his neck and a pistol in his hand when he approached the victim. Police said the youth demanded money and threatened to use the gun and the snake to harm the victim if he didn't get it. However, the victim ran away without turning over any money, police said.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 15-year-old boy was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center Saturday night after a man shot him in the right inner thigh in the 600 block of Biddle St, police said.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men approached a 28-year-old man in the 1600 block of Earickson Place last night, threatened him and took his wallet, which contained $40, police said.

THEFT: Eastern District -- More than $800 in property was stolen from a residence in the 900 block of N. Chester St. over the weekend. Police said someone gained entrance to the house through an open dining room window and stole $70, a video cassette recorder, a stereo and clothing.

THEFT: Eastern District -- Tools and equipment valued at $900 were stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of N. Iris St. over the weekend after someone pried open the passenger door, police said.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- The landlord of a dwelling in the 900 block of Rutland Ave. reported yesterday that someone entered the unoccupied house over the weekend and removed the back door and other house fixtures. The items were valued at $110.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A 26-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the 1800 block of N. Broadway yesterday morning. Police said a man displayed a gun and demanded the victim's cash and jewelry. The total value of the stolen property was $1,605.

THEFT: Eastern District -- A camera and six electric razors valued at $1,160 were stolen from an unoccupied vehicle Sunday morning in the 1400 block of N. Potomac St., police said.

THEFT: Eastern District -- Thieves cut a hole in a fence at TC house in the 1200 block of Bonaparte Ave. to steal $300 in weightlifting equipment from a porch late last night, police reported.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A man reported that someone broke into his home in the 1300 block of Wirton St. yesterday morning and stole a $160 cordless telephone from his living room, police said.

ASSAULT: Eastern District -- A 29-year-old woman was punched in the face and threatened with a gun yesterday morning by a man in the 900 block of N. Collington Ave. The victim suffered a bloody nose, police said.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A 19-year-old man was stopped in the 1900 block of Greenmount Ave. early Monday and robbed at gunpoint. The robber took $125. A 30-year-old man was arrested a short time later by police and was being held.

THEFT: Eastern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of E. North Ave. told police her son and his friend took a television and telephone valued at $635 from her home yesterday morning without permission. No arrests have been made, police said.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Two men approached a 17-year-old boy in the 3200 block of E. Federal St. Sunday night and took his diamond gold ring and watch at gunpoint, police said. The property was valued at $171.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A 41-year-old man reported yesterday that he had been pushed to the ground by a man with a gun in the 1800 block of E. North Ave. Friday morning and robbed of $20. The victim received a cut on the leg, police said.

ARREST: Southern District -- Eric Raymon Hodge, 24, of the 2500 block of W. Pratt St., is being held on $100,000 bail after he was arrested last night and charged with shooting a 21-year-old man in the 100 block of S. Addison St. yesterday, police said. They said the shooting may have been drug-related. The victim was reported in stable condition at the University of Maryland Medical Center today. Police said he had been shot in the head and neck.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A woman was robbed at gunpoint about 6 a.m. yesterday in the 500 block of Beaumont Ave. The robber took the victim's purse, which contained $91, police said.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone used a key to enter an office at Johns Hopkins University over the weekend, police said, and stole 30 floppy disks and a six-pack of beer. The property was valued at $68.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man was attacked in the 3500 block of Old York Road yesterday morning and robbed of his wallet. The assailant threatened the victim with a sharp object, police said.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke into a garage in the 2000 block of Loch Raven Blvd. yesterday morning and stole $200 worth of assorted tools, police said.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a man of his wallet in the 6000 block of York Road Saturday, police reported yesterday.
