STABBING: Western District -- A 37-year-old resident of the 1000 block of W. Lexington St. was reported in critical condition today at the Maryland Shock-Trauma Center after being stabbed several times with an ice pick yesterday afternoon. Police said the victim was arguing with another man about 2 p.m. when the suspect pulled out the sharp hand tool and stabbed him several times in the back, neck and shoulder before fleeing. The incident may have been drug-related, police said.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A 20-year-old West Baltimore man said he was walking down the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 1 p.m. Saturday when he heard shots and felt a sharp pain in his calf muscle. The victim was in good condition today at Mercy Medical Center. Police said the man did not report the shooting until 90 minutes after it happened.

THEFT: Western District -- Four microphones, a tape recorder and a clock radio were stolen from the Pentecostal Church in the 1100 block of Gilmor St. about 4:30 a.m. yesterday. Police said someone broke in through a rear door. The property was valued at $50.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone broke in through the front door of the United Methodist Church in the 1400 block of Edmondson Ave before 8 a.m. yesterday and stole food from a refrigerator. Police believe a robbery at another West Baltimore church a few blocks away about the same time period may be related.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police are seeking two men in the burglary of two color television sets Saturday from a residence in the 2100 block of Vine St. The burglars entered through a rear window of the unoccupied home about 3 p.m. The property was valued at $900.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone knocked out five basement windows at a dwelling in the 2100 block of Pulaski St. yesterday to steal a 27-inch Zenith remote-controlled television set, police said. The incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. The owner said the television was worth $753.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police said a 5-year-old girl was riding her bicycle near her home in the 100 block of N. Caroline St. about 10:35 p.m. Saturday when a man came up from behind and knocked her off the bike. He then rode off on the bicycle, which was valued at $100.

RAPE: Southeastern District -- Police said a former boyfriend of a Southeast Baltimore girl entered her bedroom window about 5:30 a.m. Friday and raped her. She was examined at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center and released. The suspect is being sought.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a 28-year-old man of $85 early yesterday. The victim was walking in the 900 block of E. Fayette St. at 1:05 a.m. when two men demanded his money. No injuries were reported.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A 32-year-old man said he was punched in the mouth and threatened with an ax in the 100 block of W. Bradford St. after arguing with a man about 11:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said they had made an arrest,

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police said a 35-year-old woman was approached by a gun-toting man about 4 a.m. yesterday in the 200 block of N. Montford Ave. and forced to surrender her necklace, rings and an undisclosed amount of money. The robber fled on foot. The property was valued at $450.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A police officer arrested two juveniles yesterday morning after they stole 30 newspapers from Food Plus Market on Pulaski Highway. Police said the youths wandered around the store before snatching the newspapers from a stand and fleeing.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police said property valued at $2,200 was stolen from the Celestial Church of Christ on North Chester St. between 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening and 8 a.m. yesterday. Someone broke in an open second-floor window and took several musical instruments, microphones and speakers.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A man was arrested yesterday afternoon after striking his 34-year-old wife with his hand and a stick, police said. The couple was arguing shortly after 4 p.m. when the incident in the 500 block of N. Chester St. occurred. The woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released, police said.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- A woman's bicycle valued at $67 was stolen from a porch in the 3300 block of Oakfield Ave. Saturday morning, police said.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A woman walking in the 800 block of W. Patapsco St. was robbed at gunpoint yesterday morning, police said. The victim, of the 2700 block of Virginia Ave., was confronted by an armed man who stuck a gun to her face and demanded her money. Police said the suspect took $35 from her purse and fled.

RAPE: Southern District -- Police are seeking two men in the rape of a young woman in the 2200 block of Washington Blvd. yesterday morning. Police said the assault took place between 3:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
