Florence E. Turner

Homemaker, 98

Services for homemaker Florence E. Turner of Glen Burnie will take place at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will take place between 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Mrs. Turner, 98, died July 6 at North Arundel Hospital of natural causes.

She was a member of the Nicholas Bethel Methodist Church in Odenton and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Odenton Fire Department.

Other interests included reading and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Turner.

Survivors include two sons, H. Russell Turner of Glen Burnie and Chester W. Turner of Laurel; a daughter, Hazel D. Marvel of Glen Burnie; two sisters, Carrie Warfield of Catonsville and Ethel Disney of Annapolis; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Jacqueline R. Jacob

Waitress, 62

Services for retired waitress and security guard Jacqueline Regina Jacob of West River will be private.

Mrs. Jacob, 62, died July 6 of heart failure at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

She was born in Michigan and worked as a waitress and a security guard in the Annapolis area.

Her interests included reading, basketball, baseball and ice skating.

She is survived by her husband, Renaud Norris Jacob, at home and her mother, Lillian Padgett of Florida.

Arrangements were by the Hardesty Funeral Home in Galesville.
