The State Highway Administration has announced that work has begun to resurface Route 468 (Muddy Creek Road), just south of Route 214 in Anne Arundel County.
All lanes will remain open during peak driving hours of 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.
The project should be completed by early summer.
Work has also begun on U.S. 50/301 from east of South Haven Road to the Severn River Bridge. The project includes overlaying the roadway and constructing median barriers to improve traffic safety. This work can only be done after the widening of the road is complete.
L Intermittent lane closures will occur during off-peak hours.
