Teen-agers rob man of Lexus in Parole
Two teen-aged gunman robbed a man of his 1992 dark green Lexus Saturday outside a Parole shopping center.
According to the police report, the 52-year-old victim was in the parking lot of the Riva Festival Center at 3 p.m. when the teen-agers approached him and demanded his car keys and money.
The man gave them the keys and money, and the boys drove off.
Boy, 15, faces gun, cocaine charges
A 15-year-old boy was charged with possession of a gun and cocaine after police were called to a Glen Burnie bar late Sunday night.
Officers said they were called to LA's Restaurant and Bar in the 7100 block of Ritchie Highway at 11:30 p.m. for a fight involving a group of teen-agers.
When they arrived, witnesses pointed out a youth who had a gun and who was hiding behind a car in the parking lot.
When the officers shined their flashlights on him, he fired a shot at them while running away.
Police caught him a short distance away and confiscated a .22-caliber handgun and a small amount of cocaine.
No one was injured during the incident.
3 rob clothing store in Glen Burnie
Two women and a man robbed a Glen Burnie clothing store Sunday evening, county police said.
According to the police report, the employees of Sizes Unlimited in the Southdale Shopping Center were starting to close the store at 5 p.m. when a female customer walked out and then returned to the store with a man. A second female customer had remained in the store.
The trio forced all the employees into a restroom before they took money and clothing from the store.
Police described the man as black, about 25 years old and wearing a green shirt and shorts. The two women were in their mid-20s.
