NL -- Announced that San Francisco Giants P Trevor Wilson withdrew his appeal of a four-game suspension and undisclosed fine levied for his role in a bench-clearing incident in a game June 18.

Atlanta Braves -- Activated 2B Jeff Treadway (out all season after surgery in March to repair a broken bone in his right hand) from the 15-day DL. Designated C Jerry Willard for reassignment. 1B Nick Esasky informed the club he would accept an assignment to Triple-A Richmond if he clears waivers.

California Angels -- Placed 1B Alvin Davis on waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release. Activated OF John Morris from the 15-day DL.

Kansas City Royals -- Signed 1B Wally Joyner to a three-year contract extension. Signed P James Pittsley to a Rookie League contract.
