Holcombe becomes VP

Town & Country Title Inc. appointed Jill T. Holcombe as vice president of marketing for Anne Arundel County, targeting the Annapolis area.

Holcombe, a member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, Women's Council of Realtors, Anne Arundel County Chapter, and Anne Arundel County Trade Council, will be responsible for Town & Country's business development, marketing and settlements. Kraft Foodservice Inc. presented Scott Thompson of Pasadena, territory manager for the Baltimore-Washington area, with its highest national sales award, the Circle of Excellence. Thompson, a Kraft employee for six years, posted the most substantial growth in sales and profits in his company. Real estate agents Sharon Grindle and Barbara Banks have recently joined Manis & Wright Realty in Annapolis.

Grindle, a multimillion dollar agent, has repeatedly been a top producer in both sales and listings in other real estate positions. She is a member of the Graduate Realtors Institute and has an extensive background in advertising and sales. She has been an Annapolis resident for 12 years.

Banks has been a licensed real estate agent and associate broker for almost 20 years, and has served as director of training for real estate offices in Washington and Baltimore. She earned her Certified Residential Brokerage certification in 1985, and is joining Manis and Wright in the Relocation Department. She also will coordinate training and recruiting programs for the realty.

Milloy makes 'Big 50' list

Remodeling magazine named Cynthia Milloy, CGR of Oaken Hammer Design & Remodeling, Annapolis, to its "Big 50" list for 1992.

Milloy was designated one of the professional remodeling industry's top achievers in 1992. The Big 50 list is featured annually in Remodeling's May issue.

Emmons gets TV award

Janet Lee Emmons, a receptionist with the Hechinger Co., recently received WUSA-TV, Channel 9 in Washington's, "One & One 9 Award for Community Service."

Emmons, one of nine honorees chosen by a panel of 18 civic leaders from a field of more than 300 nominees, was selected for her dedication to people with cancer.

Emmons represented Washington, Maryland and Virginia June 15-17 in the American Institute for Public Service's national Jefferson Award competition.

Adams joins staff

Mike Adams has joined the staff of Gardiner and Gardiner Inc., a Crofton-based general contracting and construction management company, as the company's project executive.

Adams has 20 years' experience in construction. His duties will include new business development and project concepts and design.
