Reward offered for crime tips

The Harford County Crime Solvers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for the arrest and indictment of those responsible for breaking into several rooms at hotels in the Edgewood area. A large amount of jewelry and personal items have been stolen from guests' luggage.

The break-ins occurred between Feb. 22 and June 1.

One of the victims is offering an additional reward for the return of jewelry or the arrest of those who took it.

The thefts occurred at the Comfort Inn, at 1700 Van Bibber Road; the Days Inn, at 2116 Emmorton Road; and the Invitation Inn, at 1709 Edgewood Road.
