Police arrest 3 men on drug charges

The arrest of two Glen Burnie men suspected of taking part in a drug deal in Orchard Beach Thursday afternoon led to their alleged supplier, who also was arrested on drug charges, county police said.

Detective Dennis Freeburger said he watched as two young men emerged from a rental car at about 3 p.m. and used a public telephone at the corner of Fort Smallwood and Hilltop roads. He said he recognized one of the men as a convicted drug dealer.

Believing a drug deal was imminent, the detective and a police officer driving a marked cruiser stopped the car.

Police said a search turned up 5 grams of crack cocaine and $500.

Michael Clive Tracey, 21, of the 100 block of Faywood Drive, and Clarence Leslie Bristol, 22, of the 7800 block of Southampton Drive, were charged with possession of cocaine.

Police said further investigation led them to the alleged supplier, who was arrested at his Glen Burnie apartment shortly before 11:45 p.m.

Mark Anthony Boykin, 28, of the 7800 block of Bruton Drive, in the Valley Brook Apartments, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and marijuana and unlawful drug manufacturing.

Police said they found a small amount of crack cocaine and marijuana and $7,390.

Esperanza Shedahi, owner of Shedahi CATV Construction, told police the Pierce Arrow Pneumatic Piercing tool, which is 4 feet long, was taken from his truck Wednesday or Thursday.

Police said the thief gained entry by breaking the passenger side window. The truck was parked off Headquarters Drive, near county police headquarters in Millersville.
