HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Manny Alexander's two-out, two-run triple in the seventh inning lifted the Hagerstown Suns over the Harrisburg Senators, 4-3, in the Double-A Eastern League yesterday.
The victory gave the Suns (26-35) two wins in the three-game series against the Senators (31-31) and eight of 14 in the season series, including six on the road.
Alexander also had a single and double, giving him half of Hagerstown's hits.
Winner Jeff Williams (3-4) pitched six innings, giving up five hits, one run and four walks. He struck out three. Chris Johnson (4-4) was the loser.
Brad Pennington picked up his seventh save by striking out Chad McDonald with two out and runners on first and second.
