Terrence L. Jensen, a longtime Baltimore carpenter who retired in 1980 as a millwright foreman, died of a heart attack May 2 in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was 73.
For 44 years, Mr. Jensen was a union carpenter in the Baltimore area, first as a member of Carpenters Local No. 101 and then its successor, Millwright Local No. 1548. Much of his work was done on projects being built by the Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. in Baltimore.
Over the years, he lived in Edgewood, Rosedale and, in the late 1940s, owned a dairy farm near Westminster.
Mr. Jensen was reared in the Baltimore Highlands section of Baltimore County and attended Catonsville High School. In the 1930s, he played semiprofessional baseball for a Baltimore team called the Young Americans.
