Baltimore City

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone stole a wallet from a Baltimore County woman's purse last night as she walked down a ramp at Oriole Park at Camden Yards following the baseball game. The victim, a resident of the 9200 block of Bretton Reef Road, told police someone bumped her and that when she got to her car, her wallet with a small amount of money and various cards was missing.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A couple was robbed early yesterday while they were in the 100 block of N. Monroe St. The man, a resident of the 210 block of Vine St., told police he and his female companion were walking about 7 a.m. when two men, one with a gun, stopped them, and took $11 from the man and nearly $70 and a full-length leather jacket from the woman.

STABBING: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of Yale Ave. was stabbed in the back with a steak knife early yesterday during an argument with another man in the 500 block of Mount St. Police said Grover Sykes was taken by ambulance to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was treated and released.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the first block of W. North Ave. was robbed of his wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday night while walking in the 1000 block of N. Fulton Ave. The victim told police he was walking around 9 p.m. when a man who implied he had a gun ordered him to give up his wallet.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested a man and his female companion and charged both with robbing a woman in the 1000 block of W. North Ave. of her jewelry. Police said the victim, a resident of the 1500 block of Sheffield Road in Northeast Baltimore, was in the 1000 block of W. North Ave. Sunday night when the couple took her gold necklace, valued at more than $1,000. Later, police arrested a couple and charged them with unarmed robbery. Held at the Western District in lieu of $5,000 bail was Kevin Newton, 29, of the 900 block of W. Lexington St. The woman, Tracie Walker, 33, also of the 900 block of W. Lexington St., was being held at the Women's Detention Center.

STABBING: Western District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Mosher St. was treated at Maryland General Hospital over the weekend after being stabbed in the arm during an incident a block from his home. Police said James Davis was in the 1100 block of Mosher St. early Saturday morning when he was stopped by a man armed with a knife, who stabbed him. Mr. Davis told police he did not recognize his attacker and had no reason why he was stabbed.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Braddish Ave. reported that when he arrived home Sunday evening he found two men inside his house. They had broken in through a bathroom window. Police said the two fled with with several pieces of jewelry and appliances, all valued at more than $700, when the occupant cried out.

ROBBERY TRY/ASSAULT: Western District -- Police today continued their search for two men who tried at gunpoint to rob a woman as she walked in the 1800 block of Elgin Ave. Monday morning. The victim, a resident of the 2300 block of Reisterstown Road, reported she was walking alone about 12:30 a.m. Monday when two men exited a car that stopped nearby and approached her. The woman told police that one of the men pulled out a handgun and ordered her to give up her money. When the woman told the men she had none, the gunman struck her, but got back into the car and drove off.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Employees of Pikounis Construction in the 500 block of S. Bond St. reported that someone stole eight hanging doors valued at more than $300 from a house in the 3000 block of W. North Ave. that is undergoing renovation.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men robbed a cleaning establishment on South Hilton St. Monday afternoon of about $40. Police said two men entered Supreme Cleaners in the first block of S. Hilton St. about 4:40 p.m. One of the men implied he was armed, but did not display a weapon.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 500 block of Tunbridge Road told police he was in the 2500 block of W. Pratt St. Monday when he was attacked by a man who struck him with his fists and robbed him of more than $200.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property valued at nearly $3,000 was stolen from a dwelling in the 200 block of Atholgate Lane Monday. Police said the break-in occurred between noon and 3 p.m.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone broke a window to get into a house in the 3000 block of Abell Ave. between Tuesday night and this morning, taking a wallet containing more than $100.

THEFT: Northern District -- A resident of the 400 block of E. Lake Ave. reported that someone entered his property between Sunday and yesterday and stole a multispeed custom bike valued at nearly $1,000.
